Christmas orders... all wrapped up!

Well that was it!.... Christmas rush 2009. I can honestly say I've never worked so hard in my life but I've had the helping hands of some fantastic people and I'm so grateful to them all. Sarah Hook, who joined PP half way through this year has not only been a priceless colleague but the best friend I could ever wish for. Thanks Sarah.

I just signed in to update this blog and realised I hadn't updated it since October! As someone who enjoys writing a blog post, thats an indication of how crazy its been here.
I owe a lot to 2009. My business certainly got off the ground, I won an award for my achievements and I've met some amazing people. A few of which I have a feeling I'm stuck with! ;o) No names mentioned.... Amanda Farren, Nicki Cawood and Sarah Thexton. Three amazing women who have made me laugh, cry, work hard and more than anything... smile a lot! Thanks girlies x x
Anyway, just a short post today. I'm really tired and have some serious family time to catch up on.

Wishing you all a VERY Merry Christmas and a Fantastic 2010!

I love you George....

I can't believe its been 2 years
how quickly does it fly!
Big brown eyes and little nose
you made me & daddy cry.

Yes you've been a handful
but we wouldn't change a day.
You really are so perfect
in every single way.

I can't believe the mess you make
but I guess you copy me.
Splashes of paint on everything
and stickers on my knee!!

You always have me running round
chasing your cheeky smile.
But a cuddle from you and a snotty kiss
makes it all worth while.

I love you George

Such a lovely day, met some fantastic ladies and saw other awards go to some fab mums who really deserved them.

Hi everyone.

Whats with this gorgeous weather?? I'm not complaining but where was it a month ago when we were all ready with our sun-block and hats!? Anyway, I'm gonna write a quick update and go catch some rays before it snows or something.

10 quid well spent!!!....

So yesterday afternoon I wasn't really in the mood for yet another Saturday listening to football. Plus, Carl had decided that after a hard week at the office he wanted to do nothing more than sit on the sofa all day reading his papers and glancing over them at Sky Sports. I had plenty of work to be getting on with so you wouldn't really think it was a problem. But it was! Aggghhh!!
"Why don't you go for a pint with your Brother" I said. I should tell you at this point that we live in Nottingham and his Brother Chris was in Northwich. Hardly round the corner but I thought it was worth a try.
Looking puzzled he said... "Nah, can't really afford to go out" he says. "Plus, I can't have a drink and drive back down tonight can I"
I remembered getting £10 cash back from shopping earlier on so I grabbed the tenner out my pocket, handed it to him and said "There you go, see you in the morning love".
Looking puzzled he asked if I was having an affair!
"No sweetheart, you are just boring me to death and if you go for a few pints, me and George can play and everyone's happy"
Still frowning he reaches for his phone and rings Chris to see what he's up to, then tells him he'll be leaving shortly.
"Are you sure love?" he says. "YES! Go!" I said.
He looks at what he's wearing, puts the tenner in his pocket and says "Don't need anything else do I"
At this point, any woman would be getting a bag of supplies ready!... make up, toothbrush, clean underwear, and probably some clean clothes.
Not Carl. He gives me and George and kiss and goes.
Then he gets to the back door and finally says "I can't believe you've just paid me to sod off"
I just smiled and said "Have a nice time babe, love you."
Anyway, me and George had a great afternoon. I didn't touch work for the rest of the day. We played silly games, went to see family, played more silly games and last night when George was in bed I had the remote control all to myself (with a very large glass of Archers and Lemonade)
I'd have given him 20 if he'd have asked, but thats between us! ;o)

New products!

Hi Guys

Very hectic over here. Christmas is a'coming and we're busy making new items, fulfilling requests and generally getting stocked up for the chaos and fun ahead. My only advise would be not to leave it to the last minute to grab your Christmas gifts. ;o)

Our most popular items by far are for new arrivals and toddlers but we create lots of custom orders for older children, so with this in mind we've launched these matching sets. They make fantastic gifts and aren't too pricey if you're just wanting to add some colour to your child's room.
See website for full details
Hope you like them. Natalie x
