Dear So and So...

Dear Sunshine
Now THIS is more like it! Where have you been up until now?

You seem to have grown in those 7 days.

The Gallery - Guilty Pleasure

I bet you are all intrigued to know what my guilty pleasure is... yes?

Is it chocolate?

A large glass of Baileys whilst relaxing in a hot bubble bath?

Running naked through the neighbouring fields on a cold autumn morning? (I don't do this any more, something to do with a decency order and breaching the peace?!)

No this is my guilty pleasure:

Don't judge me!

The Gallery - Happy Memories

Meet Master PP, who is better known as George!

George wasn't exactly planned but very welcome! The birth itself was hideous (no really! I'll spare you the gory details!), but it was the birth of something amazing.... my son, and a whole new fantastic life! George is my best friend he's funny and smart and not a little cheeky! This picture reminds me of the beginning of a whole host of happy memories, more of which are created every day.
Love you little man

Autumn

Autumn is most definitely here! The flip flops have been put away, sun cream pushed to the back of the cupboard and the search for the gloves and hats that were so carefully put away when spring hit, (but seem to have moved themselves magically) has begun.

I don't know why we are all surprised really, autumn does usually follow summer, but I think that having our summer in April this year has thrown things a bit!

If I had to choose I'd say I was an summer girl while George doesn't care, outside in the sun on the trampoline or rolling in the snow it's all the same to him.

What about you? Are you like me mourning the lost chance of sitting outside, working on the tan and sipping something naughty or are you one who loves Autumn and Winter? (Strange people!).

Really autumn people? You wouldn't prefer to be sat outside in the sun with one of these???
Ok, maybe Autumn isn't my favourite season as it spells the end of hope that summer will arrive but Winter has it's own magic for me, Christmas! (You know that a big kid like me loves all the magic!)

Dear So and So

Dear So and So...

Dear Shoes
Shoes, Shoes, Shoes, Shoes.
If you read my Gallery post this week you'll see I denied my love for you.
I'm sorry.
I do love, and I am obsessed with you.
By way of apology I will go shopping asap and add new members to the shoe family.
Lots of love and kisses,
Her who has seen the light!

Dear George
You really are as nutty as a fruitcake!
I can't imagine where you get that from?

Mummy, who is attempting to look innocent and failing.

Dear Blogger
You have annoyed me one time too many. I will soon be ending our affair and moving to Wordpress who I hear does not have naff spacing problems and has lots of fun widgets to explore.
Or so I hear.
Her who is jumping ship x

Dear Weekend,
I can seeeeeeee yoouuuuuuuu!
Her who is most ready to meet up with you again.

Dear Readers,
Thanks you for reading, commenting and sharing.
It amazes me that you enjoy my ramblings!
More soon
Me x

The Gallery - Shoes

My heart skipped a beat when I saw that this week's theme was Shoes!

Some people say I have a shoe obsession, how silly! I just like shoes, high heeled shoes, flat shoes, pointy shoes, decorated shoes, shiny shoes... oh God and the colours!
I like red shoes, black shoes, I saw a wicked pair of blue ones the other day.

Pah,obsessed? Ridiculous! I just like shoes.

What do you think?

The ToothFairy

The Tooth Fairy and Santa are pretty much on equal footing in our house. We haven't had any lost teeth as yet as George is too small still but he knows that one day she'll come, take a tooth and leave him pennies! (I must find out at that point what the going rate per tooth is).

Our personalised Tooth Fairy cushions are a brilliant addition to the fantasy and are proving to be very popular, both for presenting lost milk teeth and for keeping as a lovely keepsake!

Each cushion measures 10cm x 10cm with a little pocket and wooden button. It hangs from a matching ribbon and is embroidered with "_____'s tooth".
As you can see, these lovely cushions come in three different colours and cost just £7.95.

We have had many messages from parents telling us of some of the most fantastic traditions that they have in their home, often carried over from when they were children, such as sprinkling fairy-dust on the floor and leaving tiny footprints. Magical!
What traditions do you have? (And yes, any info on how much teeth go for on the Fairy black-market would be much appreciated!).

We are looking forward to reading your comments, and possibly "borrowing" some ideas for when George is older!

Don't forget that p&p is just £1.95 regardless of the size of the order so why not browse the rest of the site and pick up any early Christmas or birthday gifts and save additional delivery charges.
